I'm trying to think of a safe way to cosleep with our toddler and baby in our queen sized bed with a side-carred crib. When DS was itty bitty we hadn't moved the crib yet and he slept in the middle on a sleep positioner until he squished down in it one night. I'm thinking the snuggle nest may be a good idea, but I wasn't sure if is actually safe. I also think the middle would be best for baby because of the crack b/w the mattresses. Is there a better solution? Is the snugglenest worth $50?

We had one with ds1, and it was useful for just a little bit there - when he was really small. We were new to co-sleeping and it did provide some peace of mind, with little walls around him. Worth getting, perhaps, but probably not for full price.

We have the travel version, which we've used for travel with very small babies. I like it when in an unfamiliar bed that isn't against a wall and has lots of pillows, but we tried it in our queen bed when we first got it, and no way. It was just too big.

What we eventually did was get a twin bed and put it next to the queen. It's against the wall, then the two beds are right up against each other, so we have one HUGE bed. We found a console table at Target that we got two of and put end-to-end at the head of the bed, which is the perfect length for a headboard for the whole thing.
