HELP. I have had many AF problems due to endo. Finally with the help from a homeopathy doc I got back on track and for the past 5 months I have had the same cycle. Every 4 weeks Fri I'd bleed for about 1hour NO PAIN at all. Then Mon. I would bleed heavily and have SEVERE cramping, last about 3-4 days. Well dh and I started REALLY trying to concieve and this month fri came and went monday came and went. I am having no sig. pain that would lead me to belive I am getting AF. I am 6(4) days late (depending which day you count from) and the first HPT I took (EPT CERTAINTY) the digital readout said NOT PREGNANT, the stick, after removal, had a dark line and a faint line...thought maybe it was diffrent so I went and bought the Old fashion POAS kind, (First Response) and took it twice... both NEGATIVE!!! Yesterday I notice blood in my urine and started to get pain so I am drinkin' cranb. and taking pro-bio. I read that UTI can't effect HPT results???? I am going crazy!!!!!! .any suggestions????

Go to your Dr and roll up your sleeve and get a blood test.

Sometimes HPT's just don't work.

a UTI can't effect a preg test. the test looks for the hcg hormone that you only produce when you're pregnant. As for the digital tests--They should never be read after you disassemple it because they don't work the same as nondigital tests. a neg test can have 2 lines and a pos test may have 1 line. you can only count on the digital reading. I would say wait a few days and retest. do you chart your temps or have any idea when you ovulate?? It is overwhelming huh?!! Hopefully you will find the answers you need here!!
