I! Am! So! Excited!

Just found out my sister is also pregnant and expecting in December!

(OK I think I've used up my allotment of smilies for the month!)
I had been waiting until after my second dr appt next week to tell her, and she told my parents she wasn't sure how to tell me because she knew we'd been trying for a long time (second baby for her). And my dad was like, "Don't worry about it. Just call her. Tell her." And my mom was like, "Oooh, call her now! And then call me back!" And then my mom called me as I was walking in the door from work and said, "Soooo, have you talked to L. yet? No? Oh, um, ok. Just call her now. Bye." As my sister says, they're really bad liars! So we both knew something was up!
Unfortunately her joy is a bit tempered at the moment by the fact that she has hellacious morning sickness. I hope that gets better for her soon. But mostly I am just so happy that we are going to be pg together and have babies together (knock wood!)!!!

Congrats, Becca! How fun for you two!!!
how exciting for the grandparents!
That's great! And it's so sweet that she was concerned about how to tell you.

Whoo-hoo I just found out my best friend is pg and due in Dec also!!!! Exciting times!!
that's fun!
I too found out that my SIL is pregnant too! This is the second time we will be pregnant together! They have one in between our firsts (who are three months apart- she went 2 weeks early and I went 2 weeks late), and this current preg, they are one month later than me... we'll see what happens! I could go late and she could go early again, that would be pretty funny...
It's very cool/fun to have a sister/brother expecting at the same time!

How exciting. I've always wanted to be pregnant at the same time as a friend (I have no sisters) IRL. Did you tell her you're pregnant or are you still waiting until next week?
That is so exciting!

I was pg with my first when my SIL was pg with her second. They don't live near us, but I really enjoyed emailing her throughout the pg. We called them first to tell them about our BFP, and they said, "Really?! We were going to test today!" The babies were due within a few days of each other. She had her's first and I had mine 12 days later.

Aww, congratulations! Not my sister, but my next door neighbor is pregnant and due in September. Our first kids are two months apart, and play together daily. It's really nice to have someone close to be pregnant with.

Thanks everyone! Yeah, when I found out she was pregnant I had to tell her (DH understood of course!). My parents are over the moon -- it's so cute.

I think it's kind of cool, too, that my sister has done this before -- I'm the older sister, and have always been in the "older sister" role, so I'm actually looking forward to asking her advice and having her be the "expert"!
LOL! Congrats! What a special time for your family!

I recently found out that one of my sisters is pg too. Due five wks after me. This is my THIRD pg to be pg with a sister!?!?!?!?!?
My first is 3 wks older than her cousin and my second was born 12 days after his cousin. Each by a different sister. So crazy. I was actually kind of looking forward to being the "only one" pregnant for a change. But not this time. This will be my parents' sixth grandbaby in three and a half years and my sister's baby will be the seventh.

It is SUPER FUN to have cousins close together and get to help each other with each stage along the way. Enjoy it!!!
