That stinks!!!!! I have a used machine that you could have if you lived near by. works fine, we are consolidating two households into one. I am having some problems with mine, not agitating well. I need to look at it. I don't think I could do cloth if I didn't have my own machine...

Oh yeah. We found it hard going just a week without a washer when we were on vacation- we spent about twice as much money at the laundromat as disposable diapers would have cost. I bow down to the folks who do it all the time. Is there a diaper service available near you?

I used to wash my first babies' diapers in the bathtub every two days because the laundry room was eight floors down and hung them on a rack to dry. I hand washed all the other things I could, except basically jeans. Can you do that until the washer is fixed or replaced? Too bad it's not summer, then everyone could go practically naked!

oh no that sucks! I hate going to the laundry mat, I honestly can't say if I'd still use cloth (diapers especially) if I didn't have a working washing machine. Hope it gets fixed or you get a new one soon.

I washed all mine by hand for months. And only stopped because the weather was too cold to dry them in my unheated bathroom. It's not that hard if you wash every other day.

I go to the laundromat for the time being but I think I will stick to that because I think it's worth spending $3 to wash and dry them there than an hour or more a week doing them by hands.
