For the last week I have been constantly hot!! Nothing will cool me off. My husband looks at me crazy when I get into bed practically naked and its 40 degrees outside.

What gives? I am going to spontaneously combust!!!!

Lovely, eh?

I've been like this for 2 weeks now approximately. The kids and DH will be cold and I'm like, "OMG, open the windows.." and I'm sweating SO HARD. I've been cracking our bedroom window (DH HATES THIS!), and like you, sleeping naked except for the necessary undies I insist on. Totally unlike me. I always want a blanket on me, but I've been pushing it completely off of the bed in the past few nights.

I sympathise, although the temperature here is not as high, it's about 20-25 degrees (Celcious that is!) but I'm so very hot that I end up turning the air-conditioning units on

Yes, I sleep almost naked as well (started out initally because of recurrent yeast infections) and almost never use the covers at night!

It's a good thing that we're giving birth at the start of the summer; my DS was born in August and I remember that year (2007) we had the hottest summer here in Athens with temperatures rising up to 42 degrees! And of course I couldn't go anywhere to cool myself off, the beaches around Athens are not that clean (and we live in the Northern Suburbs of Athens anyway) and could not travel by ship or plane to the islands

Yep. I have been just roasting. Our bedroom is always the hottest room in the house (temp-wise, not necessarily otherwise. lol) and I have to sleep with a fan blowing directly on me to get any rest. Today I turned on the central air, more to just take the humidity out of the air since the rest of the house was in the mid-60's. My mom is always freezing, so when she came over she freaked out that it was so cold in the house. I thought it was great. My St. Bernard agreed. At dog training class tonight she was dragging because it was SO hot in there. At least I have someone to commiserate with when it gets over 70 degrees and we're sweating/walking around with tongue hanging out.

I'm afraid I'm going to give my family pneumonia! I have the a/c on all the time and make them wear layers. I can't sleep well past 5 am because I am just too hot.

lol! My husband and son are walking around in sweatsuits and I've got the cooler on. They are cute about it though, I turn the cooler on and they both silently go put on their layers They know not to mess with a hot momma!

I'll be 37 wks in 3 days, and am still quite cold all the time. Doesn't help that our weather is damp and dreary. Next week it's supposed to warm up to high 80s and I can't wait. I do crave ice and ice water, and also have night sweats often. But otherwise I feel mostly cold.

Hot here too (me, not the weather!). It'll come on suddenly so it feels like a hot flash, I'm keeping the bedroom windows open and the fan on me at night.

Why is it always worse at night?! I'm ok with windows open and fans going during the day, but at night, I turn my AC on (in addition to the fans)....and down to 68 or 69 degrees! My poor kids sleep in fleece jammies still because they sleep in my room and I keep that thing like an ice box!

I'm burning up here, too, but it is summer, so I guess it's to be expected. Yesterday, we were at the pool, nad it was so nice. Ahhhh..

My first baby was born 9/1, so I had to go through the entire summer pregnant. Ah, I was so hot all the time. It was miserable.

Although we were at a festival last weekend, and I saw all these screaming babies in wraps/slings/whatever, cause they were so hot. All their mamas were having to take them out and strip them down to cool them off. And, I was trying to remember which is more miserable--pregnant hot or having a newborn attached to you all the time hot, when your sweat starts mixing. Neither one of them is all that fun.

Next time, I'm going to remember to have a winter baby!!
