Okay, this post is definately wishful thinking as I'm not pg. For DS I was had a great OB and a hospital birth. But having BTDT now, I would love to have a birth center birth the next time around. My last labor was uncomplicated and the only trouble was high bp during contrax that resolved on it's own pretty quickly once I got settled and was able to get a handle on the pain. I've looked up midwives in my area and have a few names in mind to look into when the time comes. But when I look up "birth center" I get listings for hospitals.

I dont know if htere is a birth cenrter regisrty or something. but i will say I LOVED my birth center birth. after 3 births in hospitals that were SOOOO not natural( laying in bed, IV's unable to eat...) I went to the Birth Center with my last one and It was awesome. I labored at home for 27 hours, with constant contact from the midwives( mine was not in the office those 2 days) Then I went to the Birth center, I was only 4 cm so hte MW broke my water, and I flew. got in the BIGGEST tub on earth!!!! What a dream and delivered my little girl on a bed that was covered in white victorian lace...

Hubby was sooo leary of hte birth center, I think more so complicted because he is terrified after our twins passed. BUt now he tells EVERYONE!!!! I want a home birth next time, and i think i might have an accidently on purpose homebirth LOL...OOOPPSS didntt make it on time. LOL I dont knmow thoug. I do know this. I wil never have another baby in a hospital unless it is a dire emergency. The best part was I went in at 930 ish, had theb aby at 220 and was HOME by 6. WOW how great is that. sleeping in my OWN bed!!!

God luckin your search. I am doing all ind of research myself. Iam feeling hte baby bug pretty hard but hubby is resisting after our MC 2 months ago. I guess he doenst understand that makes me want another one more!!!!
