So how does the Clearblue Easy HPT work?

Does it actually detect the amount of hormone in the urine or just read the line with a sensor?

I ask because the line was faintly blue and I got a very faint pink line on a different brand of test. The CBE was a backup test.

I'm not sure I trust the results. Anyone else?

I can not tell you how it works, cuz I don't know for sure. I do know that if there is a line AT ALL it is +. Congrats!(maybe)

Lately I have had experience with some tests showing a very faint blue line when not pregnant. It was a First Response I think. I used another brand (just a generic kind you can order from medical supply houses) and there was no line. With symptoms I would accept the results, but probably want a blood test to confirm.

I also was under the impression that ANY line was a positive-- but I don't believe that anymore.
If you used a digital - DO NOT READ THE LINES!!!! They do not mean the same thing! Yout can be completely NOT pregnant, and have two lines.

I just wanted to respond, since it sounded like you were talking about a digital test, not a regular one.

ON the digitals - a line is NOT a line. It is only positive if it says "pregnant".
