My mom got me two skeins of Classic Elite Posh. It is absolutely gorgeous! Cashmere/silk blend in a luscious shade of green. Anyway, I have 250 yards of it. I think it qualifies as a worsted weight (4 3/4 st per inch and recommended needle size 8). I'm thinking it's enough for a divine looking scarf, but I'm kind of sick of knitting scarves right now Since I don't have a whole lot, I'm limited by the yardage as to what else I could make. Any other suggestions???

You could use it to do a collar and cuffs on a sweater made of a similar weight, less expensive yarn. Or you could do a wonderfully soft earwarmer type headband and a pair of fingerless gloves. Or just nice soft mittens.

Well as boring as it sounds, I think I'm going to make a scarf. My mom's going to try to get me one more skein, so I have enough to knit a swatch and play with, before I actually start the scarf. I want to be really sure of what I'm doing, since I would hate to mess up this yarn.

I love the earwarmer/fingerless glove idea too! But, I've got my heart set on making the Nordic Mittens out of the Winter 04 "Interweave Knits." I'm feeling up for a challenge. I've been wanting to try two stranded knitting for a while, and these mittens are calling to me!! And, I just can't see myself using both mittens and fingerless gloves.

Thanks for the ideas!!
