Would you? There's a local consignment shop in my town that will take cloth diapers. I'm thinking about sending a lot over there instead of ebay or TP.
Pro: diapers stay in town for other FBKS mamas, I don't have to worry that my descriptions aren't adequately describing the diaper's condition. (Contrary to popular belief, many ebay sellers do work very hard to write a thourough and honest description diaper description)
Con: I'd have to drive across town with dd in tow, no garuntees that they would sell, and I'd get cash instead of paypal (so it would get piddled away on misc stuff instead of replacement diapers)
I have no idea about pricing, but I suspect that the hyenna stuff would sell for less. Noone locally is going to pay $30-40 for hyenna wool items etc and the store takes a 40% cut anyway. Even for fitteds, no-one locally is going to know that the SOS is worth more then the MEOS.
Anyway I'm thinking I'd rather send all but my prefolds to ebay. What do ya'll think? Can you think of other advantages to selling locally? What would you do?
