... we had unprotected sex a few times this month, a couple times right before ovulation.

I was supposed to have my pd around the 28th, assuming I have a 28 day cycle. I've always had 28 days, but recently had one that was 26 or 27 days. It is now day 32, and I am off and on crampy, and extremely irritable/emotional. No period at all, not even spotting of any kind. I don't think I've ever been "this" late, as I always notice my pds and usually right when I think "hey my period is due today"... there it is. But not this time!! I don't think stress is a factor, because I honestly just realized i was on day 32, so I haven't been panicking, waiting for AF.

I took a preg. test yesterday at around 4pm (not first morn urine) and it was negative.

When should I test again, or should I just keep waiting to see if AF comes eventually..? Would my negative be enough to know I am not pg, wouldn't it show a + by now..?

It wasn't 1st morning urine, so test again in the morning. Your urine might have simply been too dilute for the test to work properly.

Also remember that periods can be wonky for no apparent reason. You might have ovulated later than you think you did. You might not have ovulated at all this month.

A negative test at CD 32 doesn't prove anything. False negatives are VERY common, while false positives are almost unheard of (and usually related to hormone-containing medication or a recent pregnancy.)

thanks for the info! I have been crampy for a couple days now, which is weird, I never just get crampy...usually crampiness means I am going to get pd within 24 hours or less.

I figured you should be knowing soon whether or not you were pregnant.

I'll be watching this thread, I'm very curious to see how things work out for you.
lol thanks for thinking of me

Well I tested again with FMU, and negative. SO i really think ive had enough time to show a +, I know for sure its been 14 days since the dates in question, so I am just thinking now my pd just might have gotten wonky for no reason. I guess the other possibility is i didnt know when I O'd (thought i did), and maybe I O'd late and its not soon enough to detect anything if i concieved. We will see!

I got my period on CD 32. Weird for sure.
