Good idea. I may try that.
So in my effort
to sweep behind the bed, behind the couch, etc. got my daughter to help. I put a sheet on the couch, and had her help me pick up stuff off the floor, with the simple instruction: "put everything on the couch". It really worked! Twice.
And at the same time, boogied into the trash some old toys of her (things that wouldn't have found a second home). Anyone else do this?

We always do this! My 17 month old loves to help, but it's too much trouble right now to explain where every little thing is supposed to go.. so I ask her to help by putting everything on the couch and it makes it a lot easier on me, too!
