So many questions

I am looking for a mentor. Someone who has been successful in having a UC. My last childbirth was in the hospital but it was natural. This is my last pregnancy and I want to have the ultimate birthing experience. If anyone is willing to help me with this please let me know. I want someone I can chat with from time to time, email with questions I might have, or if they have MSN that would be great.

I have done a lot of reading, and I'm willing to put all fear aside. I just have silly questions still though, like... how do i apply for birth certificate and ss card? how do i actually perform this (i havet found any reading on that part yet) like how do I catch the baby, cut the cord, ETC. What if the cord is wrapped around babies neck? (was wrapped around my sons neck 3 times) thanks in advance.

Hi Pookie Bear's Mama, welcome to MDC and the unassisted birth forum!

If you click on the "Search" button in the menu at the top of the page, then go to "advanced search", it'll give you options for making very detailed searches. It makes a great resource! Or just start looking through the forums. There have been recent threads addressing all of your questions.

I don't know if I'm comfortable in the role of "mentor" -- you know more about your body and how you will best give birth than I ever possibly could -- but I would be happy to discuss it with you.

I don't think one single person could answer all of your questions. But if you ask your questions in this forum, you should be able to find answers to all of them. Trust me...
