I am still having a really hard time. I am not throwing up, but I am feeling ill all the time. Food never looks good to me, but if I don't eat I feel worse. I am ultra picky about food right now, and things taste wierd and bitter. If I cook a meal myself, I enjoy it even less, but dh doesn't cook much. I am having a super hard time getting enough sleep. I sleep as much as ds does now, and still don't feel rested. Ds has been teething so we've had some really difficult nights when he hasn't wanted to stop nursing and I've had had to deny him when it got too uncomfortable and he screamed and cried. I have been basically feeling like I have the 'flu for the last 10 weeks. No energy at all. I don't feel like doing anything. The apartment is depressingly messy, but I have no time because I am sleeping and looking after ds all the time. I just feel so useless. I don't have any contracts for work right now, and I don't think that I could work even if I wanted to. I miss having more time to myself, and having the energy to enjoy things. I feel like it's a struggle just to get through the day.

Sorry for the long whine...

Sorry you feel bad. I feel a lot better, less nausea, and more energy, when I take Floradix rather than a regular prenatal. I think I absorb it better, so I've been alternating it with my vitamin (which has other stuff than the Floradix alone). Maybe you're not absorbing as much of the B vitamins in yours? Check out this link, and maybe do some other research: http://www.hpathy.com/diseases/pregn...tment-cure.asp Pulsatilla is good for his teething too, on top of the usual Hyland's teething tablets. Aconite or Anacardium might help. This is not the best website for this sort of info, but just the one I had easiest access to. Healthy teas, with alfalfa or nettles, maybe dried blueberries, rosehips, and ginger can get a little more nutrition snuck in. Remember, the golden days of the second trimester are looming near. . . . Good luck. Oh, I found the other link www.abchomeopathy.com/go.php

Can I join the self-pity party?

I threw up my lunch today, and I would give anything for a nap. My babe is nursing, so the nap might happen. My nipples are sore, and to top it off, I'm in the middle of moving.

Can anyone top moving?

Seriously, I feel for you, Ksenia. I really haven't had it too bad. Rough day today, on not much sleep. And moving makes me so miserable. We'll all be feeling like a million bucks in a few short weeks.

I want to join the pity party. I have a Moot Court brief due Monday that I am still reading the cases for (I'm a 2nd year law student). It's not that I procrastinated, but I missed three days of school because of Rosh ha shannah/ Yom Kippur. Then I got sick with a miserable head cold. And now my MS has turned into all day sickness and I am trying to FORCE myself to read 500+ pages while having dry heaves. I even took a case into the bathroom with me.
Once the brief is done, then I have to try and catch up on my school work. At least my husband is trying to help by taking our 2 year old to the mall and entertaining him.

I just quit my prenatals and just take folic acid. I'm not sure that helps with the MS in general, but at least it's one less time I throw up.

Hugs to all the other suffering mamas! Some of you probably have it worse than me.

I'm off prenatal vitamins, just taking folic acid. That helps, but not enough. I've actually lost 4 lbs since I got PG (similar to last PG) - and I *never* lose weight.

Thanks for the info provocativa. I think we need more help with the teething so I will try to look into that.

Well if you really want me to I've still got to get everything unpacked from when we moved into this house in March, get the cat ready to go overseas (she hasn't been to the vet in a few years) AND I have to get ready to visit ALL the family I can in a week and a half before I move to Japan for 3 years and my mom won't even get to be there for the birth unless the baby comes RIGHT on time AND I have the $1500 saved to get her a round trip ticket.

Then comes my whiney mother in law who doesn't feel it's necessary to send us anything for the baby (and yes they have the money), but she whines to my DH that she won't get to see the baby, so I'll probably feel pressured into working enough that I can save up for her to come round trip as well, since that woman has some kinda powers to make ME feel like I owe her sorry a** something.

Hrm...also stressing that DH thinks we're going to be able to take care of all of this by THIS coming Wednesday. How's that for stressed?
