Whaaat is my chart doing?! lol 7 of the days temps were taken at bad times, so I've discarded them... The following:
CD3: 7:00AM [AF], CD4: 6:40AM [AF], CD6: 5:00AM [AF] ..... CD18: 9:40AM, CD19: 7:00AM, CD21: 7:00AM, CD22: 5:30AM

I have the unfortunate bad luck this month of having unreliable transportation to work. The car died on us last week and I had to start taking a 2 hour public transit ride to and from work daily... Mind you, it was only 10-15 minutes by car. So I've been pretty stressed the past couple of days and can't get myself up at 6:00AM. This morning I had to wake up at 5:30AM because a coworker was picking me up for work.

But that doesn't explain the erratic temps between the 6th and the 18th... lol Why are those odd spikes and dips happening? Is that normal?

I'm hoping that temps tomorrow and the next day will show that I Oed on the 20th or 21st...

Also, just the room being cold have any affect on my temp? Whenever it's chilly and raining out, I like to upen the window in the bedroom because it helps me get to sleep. I've been sleeping between 7-9 hours daily this month so no issue with lack of sleep.

Anyone else experience crazy temps like mine? Chart should be in my siggy.

Yes having a cold can affect things. Don't freak out after just a month, it takes at least 3 good months to get the hang of this. IF your chart doesn't start making sense by then, then I would worry. Also are you on any other types of BC?

Another erratic temper here. I'm guessing you're temping orally and possibly mouth breathe at night? That can make your temps jump all over the place. The suggestion is to temp vaginally for your next cycle (don't change from oral to vaginal temps mid-cycle, wait 'til the new one).

I'm not exactly elated with the idea but that's what I'm going to try next time and see if my temps are more consistent...

No BC, thanks for the advice though. I'll give it until August and then start freaking out again. lol

Hmmm... Had no idea this was a valid option. It ran across my mind, but thought I was being a bit overzealous. haha Will definitely try it next cycle. Although it's going to be interesting temping vaginally during AF

So today's temp was a clear jump from the rest... So maybe I'll at least have a clear 'fertile window', even with all of the previous mistake temps messing up my chart.

FWIW, I wouldn't discard temps taken at odd times... I would record the time when you record your temp and just taking it into consideration accordingly. Temps taken earlier than normal would be lower than normal, and temps taken later than normal would be higher than normal. (BTW, there is a way to adjust your temp for the time difference, but I have never found that to be terribly accurate.)

Anyway, taking that into consideration, your chart looks perfect, and I see no signs of mouth breathing, etc. You have some low temps from open windows on chilly evenings, but otherwise your chart is just about as perfect as any chart I've ever seen! This is your first cycle charting, right? I recommend you keep it up another cycle or two and you'll get a lot better at seeing the forest for the trees.

Honestly, your chart looks great to me. This is your first time charting, no? Everyone's temps go up and down to some extent. It looks like today's temp may signify that you've O'd! I would add back in the temps you've discarded so you can see the difference more easily. And FWIW, I often have that one day of drying up of CF before my temp shoots up and that is normal as well.

Good luck!
