I just taught myself the magic loop, and then I figured out how to do 2-at-once!<br><br>
I'm currently doing some convertible fingerless gloves for my hubby, and they are just FLYING by being able to do 2 on 1 circular needle.<br><br>
I do think it's kinda funny, 6 weeks ago, I *HATED* circular needles and would actually knit a project with 6-7 DPNs just to avoid circs; then I got the Harmony set for Christmas and avoid using my DPNs!!!

Impressive. I've never really 'gotten' the love for magic loop. I'm all about 2 circs.

Where did you learn to knit 2 at once on one circular? I *love* magic loop, but haven't taken the time to learn to knit 2 at once.<br><br>

Okay; if you know ML, 2 at a time is really easy.<br><br>
Assuming 2 mittens - you need 34 stitches for each mitten. Using one end/one ball of yarn, cast on 17 stitches. Then switch to the other end/other ball of yarn, and cast on 34 stitches for the 2nd mitten. Slide all 51 stitches to the cable, and pull the cable out between st 17/18 on the set of 34 (if that makes sense) like you would for ML. Then picking up the yarn from the first ball/end, cast on the other 17 stitches. Join, and just knit across; make sure that when you switch to mitten #2, you pick up the yarn for that mitten.<br><br>
Clear as mud?
