I recently traded for a 4 large ME OS on the TP, Ladies, make sure you ask about the condition! I didn't even think to since I was sending a very nice package in return. I almost cried when I took them out of the package. The corners of the soaker and the wings are hard as rocks. I washed them with some DA, so they aren't all scratchy anymore, but I can't use them on DS! I PMed the mamma and she felt horrible and offered to send me something to make up for it, but it was my fault because I didn't ask.
Learn from my mistake...always ask about the condition!!! Gosh that was so dumb!

ITA with Amber. I bought some dipes from a mama on the TP and they were in really crappy condition, IMO. Huge stains, the soakers had bunched up inside and were hard, spots worn through. I would have trashed them to be honest- they were not even giftable. But maybe to her, they were in good condition compared to her others, kwim? I always ask very specific questions about condition now.

Well, that's what she said. She had no idea that I would consider them "unusable" because she had used them on her DC until they were grown out of. That's why I didn't let her send me anything.

Aww Shandelle that stinks hon! Do you think a few more washes will soften them up at all?

I do agree with Amber though, I have bought some diapers off the tp and it wasn't as nice as it was stated by that person. Same thing with clothing on ebay. So now if there is no picture or the description is vague I pass on it because I got burned in the past
