I'm not kidding.

Brit at Pipsqueak mailed my diapers and then she noticed the shipping statement said they attempted delivery yesterday but no one was here...

Hmmmm, kinda odd since dh was AT the mailbox when the mail came!! AND we got 2 other packages!!

Today, the box was brought to my door and our mail woman told me that it was UNDER A CABINET at the post office with a note that it was UNDELIVERABLE???? She noticed our address and rescued the box.

Whew!!! What a naughty postal worker to HIDE MY BOX!!!

So relieved it showed up today, all intact and delightful and fluffy

I have pics of the goods in the Tuesday fluff thread, but had to share my sheer horror at what happened to my package!

That is very weird. We had the same kind of thing happen--the tracker showed that it had reached the post office in Mansfield, but we never got it!! They just sent us another one--you have to wonder about those postal workers sometimes.

I hate when they try to pull the "undeliverable" problem. Usually it's someone that doesn't want to make the effort to actually deliver the box.

I had a huge box of cookware being delivered by FedEx. They said they attempted delivery and no one was home... I was home all day. In the front living room (those trucks are very distinct sounding) and no truck ever came by that day. I had been watching the delivery schedule because I wanted my pans so badly. :LOL No delivery. Worse they said they attempted to deliver at 7:15pm... I was standing in the kitchen making dinner (looked at the microwave so I knew the time) not 10 feet from the open window next to the front door. They never came by. Obviously someone was "behind" in his deliveries and said he'd tried to deliver. They finally delivered the box TWO DAYS later. After we'd called and griped about it.

Glad your box was "found" in time.
