I just wanted to say how very thankful I am for my husband.

My dad is in the hospital, and his surgery ran over late. Not only did my husband do solo house and baby care from 4-12am, but even made food for my dad at midnight and offered to drop it off for him so my dad could eat something as soon as they would let him.

The whole time I was at the hospital I was able to focus on my dad and mom, I didn't have to worry about my son being fed, or what was for dinner. My relatives were shocked that I could take so much time 'off'. All I could think of as I was driving home was to redouble my efforts to be a better spouse to match him.

That is wonderful! I have a husband like that and I am always shocked that my family is shocked by it. I hope your dad is on the road to recovery now.

Thank you! My dad is doing much better-- home early from the hospital. My husband continues to be a huge support. At 32 weeks pregnant, I feel like the most useful thing I've done at this time is to be married to him.
