Get this......I've been keeping track of how much I can "squirt", and you will not believe that I have FIVE squirty places on the left side, and FOUR on the right. That's easily twice as many as I had last time. I can't hand express anything per se, but if I compress like I did when I tried to bf, it comes FLYING out. FLYING. There is tons of it. I can squeeze and squirt for about 30 seconds total on each side. What the heck!!!!!!!!!!

YAY!!!!!!!!!
thats soooooooo freaking awesome!!!!!
you are SO going to feed that baby!
now, the thoughts of bottles have flown out the window right???????

my left side gets NOTHING out. i think my nipple is completely clogged. i have NO clue whats going on with that side. the breast has grown, is fuller, feels let down like sometimes, nipple is sensitive, areola grown and changed color, doing all the same stuff as the right breast, BUT i cant get anything out of my nipple but cloggy looking stuff. and then i have to WORK to get that out.
my right breast on the other hand.
if i dont hand express a few times a day it HURTS and feels too full. i only get huge droplets for like 5-10 minutes at a time. but they keep coming out as long as i am hand expressing.
i cant squirt yet.
i dont think i will squirt.
and thats ok too. just seeing ANY colostrum production is AWESOME and inspiring!

Whooo! And you'll probably get more with this pg/baby than with Addy, b/c of the recanalization that happens - you know 'bout that, right? If you're feeling full, that's cool! I never squirted with T or MT, so it's funny to me.

Yeah, my goal right now is 2 weeks w/no bottles at all, and supp with the lactaid only if I feel that baby needs it. After 2 weeks, I'll re-evaluate and hopefully can go another 2-4 weeks with no bottles. I'm sure I'll have to pump like crazy as well, so I'm prepared for that.

I asked about using an sns over on the bf challenges forum, and I only got ONE response, I think. But basically said the same thing - don't use it unless weight gain/loss shows it's necessary. I do hope I have this baby in early July when my mom is still in town! She thinks I'm nuts for trying to bf this one as well, but she won't try to sabotage me, or do anything that would make it hard. She WILL suggest bottles/formula, and I DO have them in the house b/c the baby I watch still takes them and refuses a sippy cup. But I need Mom around for sanity help, so she's better here than not!

No, you're not crazy. One of the first non-panic thoughts I had after I got my positive test was "hmmm, wonder if my boobs will work this time around"?

Tiffany~ With all of my pg, I've gotten the "dried colostrum" clogging my nipples (never had wet colostrum come out before birth)... don't lose hope for the "clogged nipple" just yet, hon! I'm rooting for you guys! (BTW, it's REALLY fun and entertaining to sit on the couch naked and pick the dried colostrum out from your nipples! )

Okay, this is a definite FIRST for me in pregnancy - I'm leaking already! Such that I'm getting wet spots on my t-shirt when I go braless. Yeesh. Already it starts.

Awesome to see so much prenatal production in our BFAR ladies!!
