Hi there! I've been "shopping around" the past couple of months for a potty simple and suitable for my DS's little bum.

Do you mamas have any recommendations for a potty that works well for an infant under 12 months?

Thanks!

We really like our BBLP for nighttime pottying and use a Potty Scotty during the day. The Potty Scotty we use backwards so that the backrest is a great big splash guard, since my son is practicing "aiming", which means he pees everywhere.

That being said, my son is not walking yet, so I can still help him onto the potty each time. I don't know how this will change once he is walking.

I tried to intro a potty at 12 months and was completely rejected (all three of them)! lol We have a 4 in 1 Primo potty, a One Step Ahead one piece potty which is a lot like the baby bjorn little potty and a little one from Stark that isn't made anymore but it's like the Once Upon a Potty. I really like the Primo and we do use the toilet insert and it is very comfy for dd. It's nice and easy to use. The seat is soft and great for a wee one.

We've been using the Ikea potty since she was 5 months old- it's a little tall and she could barley get her feet to the ground at that point, but she's 8 months now and has no problem with it. We chose it because it was only $4.
