Not until tonight when moon rises?

So when does moon rise?

We'll have to see how many of us end up going tonight and see if there is more than normal!

(maybe I need to add to my chances and hang flashlights around as well...but I don;t think nancy's is working for her!

From what I remember, the theory is that the moon's pull affects the amniotic sac similar to how it does the ocean. So there are is an "increased chance" (depending on what sources you look at/believe) that your water will break during or around a full moon.

Morning now on the West Coast. Nothing last night for me and I feel just fine, like today is going to be just another day...

On Tuesday, I felt "off" and was certain that I'd be having this kid before the end of the week. That's okay. I have to attend a meeting with some company bigwigs and some other stuff Monday (but there are caveats in case I end up going on maternity leave). Plus there is some other stuff I'd like to get done before she comes.

Yeah, I could've sworn that I would have this babe yesterday--full moon and 5 days before my EDD, which is when I had DD--but no go. Still waiting, with not much happening.

Well yesterday was my due date(!) and the moon did have an effect on me - the "lunacy" part
. There was a bout of mass hysterics which I would otherwise blame on being heavily pregnant and the descent of parents/in-laws in town. The result was a shattered soap dispenser and hubby ending up with a tear-soaked and snotty shoulder

.... But no baby....
