And what are you taking? We are headed home for the weekend and I am taking cloth and disposables...

Here's what I am bringing:
4 Trim Cut Lullabydiapers AIO's (my FAVORITE!!!)
6 Swaddlebees pockets w/ inserts
4 Lg. FB w/ inserts

8 Lullabydiapers fitteds
2 Elbee Fitteds
2 TDD premium PFs

BBB soaker
TCT Shorts
1 Dappi pull on
2 Bumpys

We are leaving tomorrow and will be home Tuesday. I can wash at my mom's Sunday (the fam will be GONE so I won't have to hear about it). We are going to use disposables For the trip there tomorrow, night time (his night diapers are SO strong) and then Sunday nightish after I wash everything. I'm bringing a liner for EVERYTHING (yup- even the pockets) because Dallin's poo is SO bad right now...it STILL doesn't plop. We'll use disposable wipes. I'll bring my large zippered pail liner from little lilly and 2 Large wetbags from lullabydiapers. I think I'm set! Anything else I may need??? Oh- a snappi...

We are apparently going to my IL's this weekend (nice of dh to mention it TODAY!), so I wouldn't consider that a vacation!

We'll use fitteds and wool the whole trip. The drive is about 4.5 hours each way, and since dd hates to ride in the car, we'll be stopping frequently to walk around and change her.

I never do wash at their house. I just bring enough to last the whole time. That means I usually do 2-3 loads when we get home, but I'd rather stick with our soft water! I hope she doesn't get a stomach bug like she had at Christmas...I was afraid we'd be buying 'sposies since I was changing her every 10-15 minutes for a day and a half. I always overpack so we were okay.

I want to I really really do! I am leaving Saturday morning and returning late Monday evening. I don't have enough for 3 full days of CD'ing So I have to buy a bag of gross sposies for the last day. I'm bringing 2 wet bags and 2 days worth though so it's better than 3 days of paper dipes.

ETA: We're heading into the mountains to go camping so no washing machines to be found.

We are. Not sure what we're taking exactly, likely the whole pile of AIOs (guessing 8-9), a pile twice that size of fitteds, couple woolie shorts, pile of wipes, and maybe prefolds with a snappi for emergency backup.

For wetbags, couple big trashbags for the van ought to do it. We'll be able to wash there somewhere I'm sure.

Me!

We are going to a little island north of Sicily. We go there every long weekend from May to September. I am bringing cloth AND sposies : Cloth will be the primary choice but I want some sposies for back up. I am going from Friday-Monday and there will be no washer and dryer. I may handwash some stuff. I haven't decided yet.

I think I am going to bring OC pocket Elbees and prefolds, along with our BBB soakers. All quick drying in case I need to handwash and our BBBs never leak!

LoL!! Love the Visa comment :LOL We're not leaving home w/o ours either!! We're not going out of town this weekend, but next weekend. We'll be gone for 4 days. We're going to Dland. So being at a hotel, we have the option of a washer and dryer should we need it But thanks to all the great advice here, I think we're going to be okay

We're taking mostly AIO's and pockets. I dont think I want to worry about covers while we're there. I bought a bunch of extra Very Baby's & Swaddlebees for the trip.. so I think we're set. I'm excited to try it. Hopefully it'll be as easy as everyone says

We are on vacation right now as I type this, and unfortunately, ds is in sposies. If this was a road trip, or a weekend trip, I would have brought cloth. But this is a 8 day vacation, with a long plane flight, and the thought of doing cd's for this trip seemed very overwhelming to me. We are having a wonderful time, but of course I'm grossed out everytime I change ds's diaper and there are those gell beads all over his bottom. YUCK! I'm looking forward (I'm sure ds is too) to getting him back into his cloth as soon as we get home.

Vacation? What's a vacation? Oh, wait, that's where you go somewhere interesting and do something fun, right? :LOL Our last (well, OK, our ONLY vacation in the almost 13 years we've been together) was our four-day honeymoon trip, and that was 6 years ago. Dh feels that money spent travelling is money thrown away. : But we are going somewhere this September, b/c my best friend used her frequent flier miles to get us all airfare to WA state where she & her husband & son live (how cool is that?!) and since the airfare is covered & we're staying with them, dh is happy with the plan. And Ian will get to see the Pacific ocean! I know this is months & months away, but I'm already working on a CD plan for the entire trip - how crazy is that?

Nope, not this weekend. My SIL is graduating, and we live in the same town. We're going away for the weekend in a month, and we'll be using cloth. I'm also going away with the babies for a week in August by myself, and I'll be doing cloth then too.
