Soaked, Sprouted, Frozen, then FISHY????

The title says it all. My beans taste nasty after I cook them. I have never experienced this before, but then again, I haven't ever frozen my sprouted beans for later use either

Am I skipping a step before freezing them? Do I need to blanch them or something? Help!
