Soaker dress!?!

527 Views 8 Replies 7 Participants Last post by  JAL
Has anyone seen anything like a knit dress with a built in soaker? I am not a knitter but thought it would be so cute, any ideas on who might make something like that?

I am new to the longies, shorts and such but just got my first pair of capris for dd and I am hooked!

Ooohhh, I like that idea! I haven't seen one, though.

They do have "flirty skirtys" which are skirts with built in soakers. I'm having a custom one done right now by Sweet Knits.
the flirty skirts at sweetknits are the CUTEST! I drool over the springtime one every time I see it. Ever since I learned to knit I have not bought any knitted items, but it is so hard to resist those

Here's a skirt I ran across which is slightly different, but it's not available yet.
It would either have to be custom or have adjustable ties I'd think. Otherwise what are the chances that the torso length would be just right ya know?

plus, it would be a total PITA to change the diaper. Unless you had some sort of snaps at the crotch 9which would probably make the soaker not work well) you'd have to pull the whole dress off each time you went to change the diaper.
your right about changing the diaper...I guess the dress would have to be separate from the soaker...which would not make it a soaker dress anymore
well it was a thought..

Those skirts on sweet knits are so cute!

Maybe I can find a knitted dress and soaker to match?!
I don't know why I am hooked on a dress....humm
