When I finish my soaker,do I felt it?
: I have never heard of a soaker cover for dipes.I just can't see how it will stay dry without some felting.
I have been knitting for years and love making bags and totes that you felt after knitting.Someone open my eyes as to why these things work

People always complain when they get felted with age and without special care to keep them from felting. They stretch to fit your baby pefectly when they aren't felted, and the little holes between the stitches allow air to circulate. Unless the diaper underneath is completely saturated, they don't even start to get wet. In the areas where the diaper is completely saturated, they may feel damp. I've only had them "leak" once and that was when the diaper underneath was sopping wet (long night with many feedings).
