This is my first time soaking my whole wheat flour and I have a couple of questions. How thoroughly should I mix the flour and liquid together? And should I cover the bowl with a cloth? Sorry, I am new to NT, and I couldn't find 'how to' in the book!

Yes, mix well and cover with a cloth to keep the bugs out. Put it in a warm spot if you have one. Use warm water as part of the liquid (as opposed to cold water)

Thank you! I used room temperature kefir/water... I hope it does ok.
