I bought 100g of wool sock yarn in a brand I can't remember and have thrown away the ball band. I think the color is called San Diego. I'm about to finish a pair of socks for my 4 yo dd. They're short and go just above the ankle.

I'd love a pair in this self striping pattern for myself. Do you think I have enough to fit my size 9 1/2 feet?

Other stats on the yarn:
I'm getting a gauge of 8 stitches to the inch on size US2 dpns.

Hmm. 100g to do socks for both your DD and yourself? It's going to be seriously tight.

I just got a pair of socks for the dh and for myself out of one ball of Austermann's step which is 100g/450 yards. I was using 2's as well and getting I think 6 sts/in.

I do need to say that I finished the H's socks too early for him to wear under dress pants and my socks barely cover my ankles.

I did them both in a k4/1p ribbed pattern.

Yes, everyone is right. I won't have enough to make a pair of above the ankle socks for myself. I'll make another pair for 4 yo dd and a pair for her little sister instead.

I found the ball band this morning in the car:
San Diego from Wisdom Yarns
100 g
400 meters / 437 yards

Thanks everyone.
