We just got a new kitten and of course, a new kitten comes with claws. My previous cats were all declawed when we got them, so I never had to deal with this. Soooo, I found soft claws and was wondering if anyone had any experience with them? Do they work? Is there something better? I really don't want to get the kitten declawed, but I need to do something. I already have quite a few scratches on me just from playing with her. (Which I know is totally normal.) But the kids don't understand and I'd really like to save our furniture from little claws. TIA

We've used them before and they worked great. The only trouble was trying to get them on. If you are starting from kittenhood, you may have better luck since she'll be used to them from the beginning.
