solids or bm for weight gain?

dd is 8 mo, already standing up and even taking some steps
so she is okay with her milestones.
but she is "just" 16,5 lbs (she didn't gain weight since march) ped suggested to introduce more solids
, but i prefer my more breastmilk idea. i think there is more calories in bm than in fruits/veggies/cereal.
what do you think? is it the right decision?

I have a great ped. When my son started solids and stopped gaining, he said, "The solids don't make them gain like breastmilk, with all its good fat." Think about the solids in the first year...fruits/veggies...rabbit food. Keep on nursing!
Keep nursing. Breastmilk has more calories than almost any solid.
