I'm not worried really, just confused.

Every morning for quite some time now I'm finding a mystery in my mouth. I will often time brush the back of my tongue before starting on my teeth. When I spit out the nastiness from the back of my tongue there is always a tinge of blood. Remnants of both fresh and old. My gums aren't inflamed or sore, no cuts or apparent breaks in the skin anywhere in my mouth, and no scrubbing with the brush by that point in the process that could cause bleeding.

So whats the deal and where is this blood coming from?

I've been feeling a bit of seasonal sorts of allergies lately but, nothing terrible. I'm usually over it by 10am. Would very mild irratation from air quality cause a drip. What other indication may indicate a nasal drip?
