Here's some healthy treats to make for the little ones. Please add any you know of!

Carob Fudge-
2/3 c. carob, 1 c. dates-finely chopped, 2 T. soy flour, 1 1/4 c. water, 2.T agar agar, 1 T. vanilla, 1/2 c. chopped pecans.
*Dissolve agar agar in hot water. Mix all ingrediants together. Pour in a dish and chill in fridge overnight. Cut into squares and serve.

Banana Nut Candy-
1 1/2 c. ground almonds, 2 med. bananas, 1/2 c. soaked soft chopped dates or raisins, 1/4 tsp. vanilla, 1/2 c. sesame seeds or shreded coconut
Blend soaked fruit w/ soak water, then strain and mash well w/ bananas. Mix in ground nuts and vanilla. Roll into balls and roll in the seeds or coconut. refridgerate at least 2 hours before serving.

Quick raw apple pie-
crust: 1 1/8 c. finely ground sunflower or sesame seeds (or a mix, add a bit of flax), 1 tsp. cinnamin, 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, 4 tsp. carob powder, 2 Tbsp. almond butter, 1/2 c. ground dates, figs, or raisins, 2 Tbsp. honey- mix well and add just enough water to make a stiff dough. Roll out and press into pie plate.
Filling- 4 c. grated apples, 1/3 c. honey, 1 tsp. cinnamin, 1/4 tsp. nutmeg, 1 Tbsp. lemon juice, 1/4 c. almond butter.
Mix ingrediants and fill crust. Refridgerate for 1 hour, cut and serve.

Lemon Chiffon Pudding
1/2 c. honey, 1/4 c. fresh lemon juice, 1/4 c. almond butter, 1 T. vegetable gelatin, 2 c. finely chopped apples
Blend everything except geletin in a blender. Dissolve gelatin in 1/2 c. cold water then add to blender. Put blender in fridge for 30-40 minutes or until jelled. When jelled- blend for a few seconds to make fluffy. Serve.

Poppy Candy
1 C. poppy seeds, 1 c. nuts, 1/4 tsp ginger powder, 1/4 tsp. nutmeg, 1/2 tsp. vanilla, 1/4 c. honey
Grind poppy seeds. Coarsely chop 1/2 of the nuts. Mix nuts and ground seeds together, mix in all other ingrediants. Form into small balls and roll in remaining nuts.
