Why does everyone love the PRR prints so much? I mean, they are cute and all, but I guess I just like things a little more bold and colorful. When they are dyed, I like them ok, but left white, I could take 'em or leave 'em.

Anyone care to help me feel the love?

Sorry, can't help you feel the love here. I just don't get what all the fuss is about PRR either. I love bold, bright colors, and really don't like white dipes or white backgrounds. I haven't seen one dyed yet, so I can't say anything about that.

I like certain PRR prints - the Farm one, Little Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks, ice-cream - others I can take or leave. The one thing I *do* like about all PRR is that it is really high quality fabric. Compared to other knit diapers I have, the PRR ones fade SO much less, and they wear really beautifully!

Yes, great quality knits!!
I have some knits that are faded and/or fraying...
All of my PRRs look new to me.

Oooooo, I love PRR. I think it's cute without being overly babyish. The prints are very small and good for diapers. The fabric is very soft, and holds up very well! My favorite PRR actually isn't one of the white with prints, it's this stripe: http://valleyglengoods.com/fpdb/imag...overStripe.jpg

I *love* this stripe - I didn't even realize it was PRR! I have an SOS in it!

One of the reasons that they are ever so cool, is that they can be dyed without interfering with the patterns printed onto them. And they dye fairly uniformly, as well. They are very high quality cotton knits and hold up well.

You're right, they look wonderful dyed on diapers, but for me they work just as well with coordinating threads and inner fabric colors, etc.

Also, for me, every time I look at a pretty print, like the mermaids and shells, or the dandelions, or even just the 'fun' ones like surfing, I see such potential in them! They really spark my creativity.

It just so happens that all (or most) of my favorite prints are PRR. I guess I just like the look of them.

I love the PRR prints! They just always seem to pop out to me. The colors are bright and the prints are cute. I like white diapers, myself. I especially adore the PRR rockets, tugboats, whales, and the subs!
I'm always showing ds the diapers before I put them on him, and he is never too interested in the batiks and other more mature prints. :LOL
Plus, they are so soft and cuddly, and they stay bright much longer than the wovens, for sure.
My question is where do WAHMs get PRR prints? Can you just buy them in a fabric store?:

I love prints period, and like the quality of the prr, plus like others have said, they do seem more "durable" than others. Other knits sometimes will pill, but I haven't had this happen with prr. Plus I like white dipes too. In terms of finding it, I get mine from Valley Glen Goods - I've seen some listed on ebay, but I'm always a little leary about bidding. I also like them because they are more kid-like without being baby-like.

As a sewing momma I guess I like them because they are limited (they offer different prints twice a year and then they're gone) LOL and I like to collect fabric. No the other reason is definitely the dyeing factor (just finished dyeing up an outfit a little while ago) and because it's hard to find knit prints that don't look baby-ish. I do wish there were other clothing manufacturer's that would offer their fabric (I've contacted baby lulu, baby yak, baby nay, etc. etc LOL). Oh and I love coordinates - ducks with matching stripes, emergency vehicles with matching stripes, bouquet flowers with matching stripes and an allover flower print, or citrus with matching circles. Makes for cuter outfits when you have 2 prints with the same colorway.

You can buy them here: http://www.valleyglengoods.com/store/ and here: http://stores.ebay.com/The-Porridge-...isplayZ2QQtZkm

Oh, you so should not have given the link to the Porridge Shop ... I just emailed the seller about combing purchases and I don't need to buy any more fabric! :LOL Like I said previously, I prints!

I like them too. I like the crisp white background with colorful pictures on top. I also think the prints are childlike without being babyish. Love it.
But I didn't know what PRR stood for until a couple of weeks ago when someone on here asked. I was too embarrassed to ask...lol

It took me forever to figure it out too! I think I finally looked in the diapering acronyms thread to see if it was listed there.

I like them for my little girls. Not so much for myself or for my 12 year old. They are bright, well made (fabric), 100% cotton and hold up well.

Although far be it from me to convince anyone--there are enough of us! LOL
