Lately when I change ds I've been noticing a fishy smell to his dipes. There's no fishy smell to the clean ones just ones he's peed in. It seems to be getting stronger. Any ideas?

I agree sounds like he needs more water if he is on solids yet?<br>

I have a friend who has frequent bladder infections and she says sometimes her only clue she has one is stinky pee. Definately try more water and if that doesn't help you might consider taking her him to the ped.

Try putting a little water on a clean dry one to see if the smell comes once it is wet on, just to rule out the scent of the urine.

My dipes started smelling fishy when they had build-up. I stripped them and starting using Tide again and no more fishy smell! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">
