Even though BF is of course serious business
I would like to invite you to share a funny breastfeeding episode with us. A little bit of laughter to make us all happy...

I think it's hysterical when my little guy (1 year) is nursing and needs to sneeze. He won't unlatch and so it always ends up with him blowing a great big raspberry on my boob. Then he gives a big smile and keeps on nursing. hahaha

Well, it's not funny haha but it's cute.
My 28 m.o. DD loves to have "booboos" and tell me how delicious they are. She has recently taken to calling the left side "Chocolate booboo." But the right side is just plain "booboo milk."

One of my favorite memories (we are beyond the BF stage in our family now) is my child #2 (first son), not quite 3y at the time.
Whenever I sat down to nurse his little brother he would speed to the kitchen to get a teaspoon and would then ask me for a "product sample". He kept doing this for several weeks but never wanted to nurse himself.

My DS smiles at me while nurse when he's come up with something funny. He'll start smiling, and pat my breast and say "ap-ple" or "cook-ie" or "Nah-ny" (=banana). He thinks he's so funny and clever to call his nana another food's name.
:
I've also had it requested of me to nurse many a babydoll, bear, dog, and trucks! hahaha

Is this one eco-friendly powered truck or what???

When my youngest son was a little over one year he used to have his "breakfast in bed" while my husband was getting ready for work. Whenever my husband said "bye-bye" before leaving he would wave to him - without unlatching!

That has got to be the funniest thing I've ever read! Love it!

My dd loves to eat and always says "Mmmmm! I wan dat!" or "I like dat" when I'm cooking something or she sees something on the table or counter that she wants to try. But she never ever asks for milkie or tells me she likes it and I was starting to feel sad about that. But one morning last week, in the bathroom when I got out of the shower she started pointing to my breasts and yelling, "Mmmmmm! Mmmmmm!"

Okay, not terribly funny, but it made my day!

DD knows that I'll nurse her after I put her pj's on her at night and she gets this grin on her face once we're done with that task, and does a little dance while singing, "Milk, milk, milk, milk, milk". Cracks me up!

DS has always been a twiddler and it has always driven me insane. I keep telling him not to play with my breast, that it's my breast and I don't like it, that it doesn't feel good when he does it, etc. Tonight he was in a playful mood when we went to sleep and I didn't notice, but he was making passes at my "free" breast with his hand until he tapped it and then giggled to himself. Three times this happened. I asked him what was going on and he said: "Oops! I played with your bist-es by mistake!" :eyeroll: I guess he was playing how-close-can-I-get-without-touching-it.

My boobs aren't water guns . . .
That's hysterical!

OK, my little guys are still nursing some and basically not speaking much at all (now 28 months). The other day, one had his nip and jumped down to go play again. He gave me a big smile and said, "Thanks Mom!" completely unprompted.
Sounds more like, "Da, Mu" but it was definitely clear what he was trying to communicate.

I also get a kick out of his twin brother trying to nurse his baby doll a couple of times when seeing me at it.

I am all warm and fuzzy inside from your little episodes. Thanks so much for sharing!
Here is another one from my youngest son: he was about 3y at the time and always enjoyed a little "nightcap" in our favorite armchair. When he thought it was about time to settle for bed he would go and get me "Harry Potter VII", take me by the hand and lead me to the armchair.
