he is 7m 3w old and has been 20pds now since just before he turned 6mo. I bought a baby scale since before I was just holding him and weighing him. he is very happy and always seems to be full after he nurses he is very content and dosnt act the least bit hungry. he is sampling baby food every few days and loves to eat when it is offered. i am hoping that he is just to active to gain but it worries me a bit. last night he weighed a even 20pds then i nursed him and he weighed 20.05 it wasnt a full nursing tho. does that sound right? any help would be much appriciated.

Just another btdt. Ds weighed 18.5pounds at 4 months, 20 pounds at 6 months, 20 pounds at 9 months, 20 pounds at a year, 19 pounds at 18 months, 22 pounds at 20 months, and is now 26 pounds at 24.5 months.

Yep, totally normal. Is he happy, continuing to meet milestones? Sleeping well, having plenty of wet and dirty dipes? If your mama sense says that he's fine, go w/it.

he is very healthy is sitting on his own not crawling yet but my dd never crawled till after she walked :LOL so that dosnt worry me. e1 keeps saying to that boys r slower than girls (i am sure that isnt always the case)
i guess every mom has days when she worries more than she should

were stuck here as well, right around 20 lbs also. It really surprised me because he gained so fast the first 4 mo. However, he started crawling at 6, taking steps at 9 and walking at 10 mo- he never stops moving!

DD is stuck at 11 lbs. She is 9 months. She crawled at 6 months, stood up at 7 months and is crusing now. I'm hoping that the weight is slowing because of how active she is.
DD was 5 12 at birth. I'm 84 lbs so I think she will always be small.
