I had an OB appt Monday (11 weeks) and they still couldn't hear a heartbeat (was there at 9 weeks too) so I am having a sono tomorrow afternoon to make sure things are good and that the due date is right.<br><br>
I am sure things are fine as 11 weeks is not far out for not hearing a heartbeat....but a little nervous none the less.<br><br>

Haven't been able to hear mine yet either (last week, 11weeks also). My uterus is really retroverted, so we are assuming that's the reason. We've seen it on u/s, so we are going to wait til next week to try again.<br><br>
Hope you have fun seeing your little one!

Thanks for the reassurance mamas! With my daughter I heard it very early...like 8 weeks. That is the only reason I am nervous. That being said, the Dr told me the only reason she wants to sono is because she wonders if the due date is off since we cant hear the heartbeat. My blood tests from Monday's appt came back great so I am thinking all is good.

Wow, not only was it's heart beating, but is was flailing all over, kicking it's legs, waving it's arms, rolling over, arching it's back. The sono tech says....in years I have never seen a baby move like that at 11 weeks!<br><br>
We could see it's big feet, face, everything. It was amazing. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">

That's probably why you couldn't hear the heartbeat by doppler. It was moving too much to get it. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin">

With all the drama and stress around this pregnancy, I have to say this is the first time I have felt any type of maternal bond with this baby, and it feels really good.

we got a scan with dd at 11 weeks and it was like that too. Means you'll have an active one! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"><br><br>
