My 3 year old DD has huge painful looking ulcers in her throat and on her tongue. (We think it is the coxsackie virus). She does her best not to complain about them, sweet girlie, but I know they are really hurting. What can I give her to ease the pain?
She's been drinking drinks with ice in them, eating popsicles and having honey... I give her painkiller meds (tylenol, motrin) when she gets really uncomfortable. But what else can we do to try to keep the pain minimal?
