I've been running a low grade fever - it's hovering between 100 & 101 - since early yesterday. I have a really really sore throat - but it's up high, like starting at my soft palate. One of my ears is really tender too - I wouldn't say I had an earache though. I just feel REALLY rundown and bad. What should I do? I really don't want to go to the Dr - I don't even have a Dr to go see. I was thinking maybe some garlic would help? Any ideas? It's hard for me to eat because of the pain in my throat.

Gargle with warm very salty water(for throat pain), maybe try some oregano oil? (supports immune system)

Garlic...if you can stand it, it wouldn't hurt

Thanks you guys. I've been taking Emergen-C, and I take probiotics daily. I will up my dose. Hmmm - is echinacea safe for nursing moms? I must go check that out.

Just updating and bumping in case anyone else has any ideas for me. It's going on three days now of a low-grade fever, sore throat and generally feeling worn out and lethargic all over. Also my glands in the neck area are all swollen. I'm a big baby, I know it, but any suggestions will be much appreciated. I'm keeping up with the Emergen-C, probiotics, garlic, and salt-water gargling (YUCK)
