My stomach feels like it has internal bruising. It hurts, and seems to be getting worse as this pregnancy goes along. I don't remember this with my previous two pregnancies. I have spots that hurt to touch on the outside. And, when she moves around and hits serious areas - OUCH!

Anyone else experiencing this?

I'm not experiencing this but it sounds like constipation...could that be?

Where in your tummy is the pain? If it's up high in your abdomen, you might want to get checked by your care provider and make sure that your liver is okay, which it most probably is, but it's good to check! I'm having a TON of pain in my right-side ribs, and sometimes I swear he jams his foot right into it. Ouch, ouch, ouch.

I've spoken to my midwife as well as the ultrasound doctor about it. They said that it is just the baby has always seemed to like the same position. Her obviously bone-y little butt is making the sore spot. It use to be really high, near my ribs. But, at 33 weeks she has dropped and now the spot is about 3-4 inches lower.

I have the same type of spot. It's just to the right of my belly button. Both my daughters decided it was a lovely place for a knee or elbow, resulting in permanent internal bruising, I'm now positive. It showed up almost right away with this third baby, too, but luckily ze decided it wasn't a favorite position for any limbs, so I've only felt pain there once or twice for a few days, until ze moved.
