Sorry for the double post... computer locked up, wrote it again not knowing it actually went through....

SO SORRY!

Hello

Our son has always been in our room with us. He started in his crib next to the bed (our bed is very small) and then we slowly pushed him up against the wall away from the bed. I absolutely love having him in the same room! We are having number 2 late this summer and we are plan to sidecar the crib to our bed. Thus moving our son to a big boy bed. We have the space in our room to have ours son's big boy bed, the crib and our bed... although it will be tight.

My husband wants to move our son to his own room asap. He thinks that it is in our son's best interest to move him. Would I be holding my son back developmentaly by keeping him in our room?

Please help me explain to my husband why it is good to have us all in the same room.
I am open to any suggestions!! Or please help me understand why I need to move him!!!

I REALLLY appreciate any help!!!

Oh, one last question please, does it work having a toddler and a newborn in the same room?

Thanks again!

I don't see why it would be developmentally necessary for your DS to move to a separate room, considering that multi-room houses are a modern luxury. But depending on his personality, he might enjoy having a separate room with all his own toys and bed where he can play himself to sleep.
