I get horrible gas and bloating when I drink soy milk or eat tofu.
Does this mean I'm intolerant to it, or will my body adjust if I keep ingesting small amounts over time and work my way up?
I am trying to go off dairy so the thought of not tolerating soy is depressing! I hate the taste of rice milk.

**I"m Anti-soy, so take this as you wish**

I'd say you're having issues digesting/tollerating it. IMO it's not worth the pain and health issues that comes with even the slightest intollerance.

When I was "milk free", I found when I needed milk for something I cooked, using coconut milk was a good option as well as a healthier option. For over cereal we use goat milk, which is much easier to digest than cow and soy.

That is exactly what happens to me when I eat soy. I kept trying to eat it for years. I finally gave up and decided that my body just cannot handle it.

I'd much rather use coconut milk or raw cow's milk (what we use now) than have the gastrointestinal discomfort of consuming soy.

Or you could try out almond milk. Super yummy.
