I love my prefolds, but I'm obviously not doing it right!

It was fine when ds was wearing covers, but now it's hot, he's running round in a snappied prefold and I have HUGE gaps round the legs! Last night he had his hand in playing with his bits!!!

I have one snappi dipe, but I'm not particularly impressed with absorbancy or how soft it is - does anyone have other suggestions?

Thanks

What about Eezi-gear fitteds? The price isn't too bad and they don't have their own closures so you can use a snappi with them. Plus the way they are built makes them quick dry but they are hemp so should be fairly absorbant (I don't have any but I am thinking about getting a few for the new baby). One place that sells them is Jamtots

Edited to add a link that shows how they are made better...Eezigear

I second the eeZi-fold fitteds. I got two seconds and really really them. They are quick dry, and very trim--we got the Every Baby size, which are the large ones, and they fit my not-too-big 14 month old beautifully. I highly recommend jamtots.com, they are friendly, quick, and have fixed rate shipping (even free shipping if you spend a certain amount), and are WAHMs. I'd have more of the eezi-fold dipes if I wasn't on the wagon. They Snappi beautifully!

I love Snappi Fitteds and tuck a fleece-topped doubler in them to make them more absorbent.

I also like the Snappi-friendly fitteds at www.rosecitycloth.com. She had instock the last time I looked and the two I have are very well-made.
