I'll go first. Things and people I'm jealous of:

People who don't have to live paycheck to paycheck.
My grandparents and their brand new 2007 fully-loaded Chrysler Town and Country
Homeowners. Renting sucks.
People who live in tribal communities where everyone breastfeeds and babywears and co sleeps and that's the norm and its not questioned.
Single people :
My friend's "ex" girlfriend who happily walked down the street holding his hand today...wtf was THAT about? So you break up with her for one day so you can mess around with me then get back together with her? Classy! Either way she's a lucky girl

How about you?

I am incredibly jealous of women who were able to breastfeed successfully.

I'm jealous of people who have the will power to lose the weight and keep it off.

I'm jealous of parents who have children who aren't as high spirited and defiant as my four year old. Let me clarify.. I feel this way NOW. I'll probably love his spirit in a few years or so, but right now I can barely make it through a day without him angering me.

I'm not jealous exactly, but envious of my friend and her dh who just bought a $750,000 house at age 27. Now, they both work long and hard, their kids spend a lot of time with the nanny and in daycare, but they make nowhere near enough money for that house, plus the Benz and the BMW. I wouldn't want their life, but I understand why they choose it. His daddy is more than happy to hand over large chunks of money "to help".

I'm in no financial position to be jealous, I have a very good life. But it sure would be nice to have someone basically buy you a million dollar house. But there are strings, not even strings, they are more like ropes or shackles, so I know that it's not all it's cracked up to be. But still, must be nice.

To be honest, and i have been flamed in the past for this, nothing. Do I fantasize that I had perfect teeth or a perfegt waistline every once in awhile? Sure. But I am so happy with my life and fees so lucky (esp overcoming my history) that I hanestly don't feel that way. I have honestly been to hell and back.

I am not really jealous, but more envious. Of people who have a wonderful childhood and loving supportive parents who are always there for them. I am envious of people with nice toes and toenails I am envious of people who are just so naturally and easily fashionable without needing to spend a ton of moeny on the 'latest' stuff. I am envious of people who are naturally neat/tidy! I am envious of people who have beautiful handwriting. I am envious of people who needs to put in so much lesser effort than I do to be a better gentle parent than I am.

Thats about it!

I'm jelous of women who have kids, stay at home, and STILL manage to get and afford fashionable clothes, workouts, spa treatments, hair appointments, and help around the house.

I had to break off a beginning friendship with someone because I couldn't stand to be near her and listen to her talk about all she had. She just had such a sense of entitlement...

I'm jealous of people who have a decent relationship with their parents but take it for granted. My parents are both dead and I miss them so much.

I wouldn't say I'm jealous of anyone. Things I wish I had? Sure. Sometimes fleeting moments here and there.

-People who can afford to own homes and have money in the bank for emergencies.

-Women who have best friends when I can't seem to even find a semi close friend.

-People who complain about their parents. I never lived with either of mine. Was molested by my dad as a child and my alcoholic mom died when I was 19.

-People who love to clean.

-People who can spend money on themselves without feeling guilty.

People with good health, dental and physical and with good health insurance that they can afford to use.

People with more financial security and for whom financial decisions are more than "So, do we put $50 on the electric and $70 on the insurance? Maybe if we called the gas people they'd be willing to take $35 until next friday..."

I try to keep it all in perspective. Many people have it worse than me.
