Hi. We are on a delayed/selective vax schedule and looking for someone who will give the splits the MMR up into three shots.

Is there anyone in CT that you know of?

Just bumping this because I am also looking, so far without success. I would also be willing to drive to another state- (parts of ny, mass, ri)

You may not be able to find them right now. Merck, the company that produces the MMR vaccine, stopped producing them in split doses earlier this year. They recently announced that they will begin offering the split MMR again in 2011. (There was no specific date, just 2011). Our pediatrician in East Providence RI, Dr. Robert Griffith of Pediatric Associate, INC., offered the split vaccine and I assume he will offer it again once it's available. He has been great with our delayed/selective vax choices.

This was the initial statement from Merck in December when they stopped producing the separate components:

They have since changed their stance (though have not said why). In any case, I'm glad that parent's will finally have their choice back.

Gales Ferry Pediatrics in SE CT will do it (or would last time I knew...) They offered it to me - they had one of them on hand, and said they could order the other two... It's more a question of whether the insurance will cover it when split up. I didn't take them up on it, but they offered it...
