help quick! i tried to relanolize my covers using lansinoh and got splotches all over my wool covers! it didn't evenly coat them like i expected, now what? can i machine wash them in some baby shampoo to remove the excess lanolin? fwiw, it's a sugar peas, a natural simplicity aplix wrap (both are flannel) and an aplix jersey wrap i made...

I had this happen to me with a Sugar peas and a Fuz cover and they never recovered, even after maching washing. Did you use baby shampoo mixed in with your lanolin/? Cause that's what I forgot to do and that was why it was splotchy instead of evenly distributed.<br>
Maybe someone else has a suggestion--<br>

The same thing happened to me the first time I lanolized wool. To fix the spots gently rub some baby shamppo or eucalan (eucalan actually works better) directly on the spots. Rinse and repeat a few times, this should get the worst of the stain out. In the future add a few drops of eucalan to your lanolin soln.
