Well I am originally from WA, then I moved to Spokane and lived there for 18 months and then I moved to TX, where my DS was born and lived there for 14 months, moved back to my hometown and lived there 7 months and now am living in Spokane again and loving it. I will be sure to pass on if I find a ped that I like.

Hi Neth Naneth!
I see you dwell in the Shire! My oldest is Samuel Wise...

Our ped is up in Chatteroy...so farther north, but well worth the drive for a very accessible doc who will call you right back, answers his own phone sometimes, and after his schpiel, will leave you alone about vaxing. OK with homebirth and very pro homeschooling...a bit to the Conservative Right, but several of us Mamas here use him...
Just getting ready for vacation in OR for 14 days of camping. I can't wait to go. I'm looking to see if anyone needs daycare for summer and maybe even when school is back in. Please let me know of any play dates. Thanks MJ

mjpegar - where in town are you? I'm looking for some part-time daycare for dd, but I don't want it to be too far from me. I had a nanny, but she decided to go to school.

Doing good. Trying to get the garden going, despite the weather. It's always nice during the week when the hubby's working, but then when it's the weekend and he's home with us, it turns crappy and rains. It's really starting to me off.

We're putting in three additional raised beds to grow stuff in this year, and in July/August putting in 2-3 more for next year when we have the time.

Don't have anything fun planned... other than the lakes and such. Were thinking about camping, but it'd end up being right when we need to start harvesting food.

hey there! I'm still here. I forget to check the local tribe. Anyway... we are busy but happy. Our kitchen/bath remodel is kind of winding down. I don't start Physical Therapy school until late Sept, so I'm just trying to enjoy a summer with the kiddo. Dan just started work with a downtown civil engineering firm last week (after a semester of grad school at UI).

Rachelle, why haven't we gotten together yet? We live, like 3 feet from eachother and we have that whole East Valley connection...! I have probably run past your house without even knowing it.

Anyway, no big plans this summer since Dan can't take vacation days yet anyway. We will probably just bop back and forth between here & Sandpoint for our fun.

Still looking for a Ped? I don't hahave northside, but i have Riverfront, which is just north of the river near downtown, well worth the drive I take from the valley (20mins) to him. Tim Seppa, in the Group Heath Riverfront clinic. he also takes other insurance, give him a try. He is a natural believer etc. good luck.

I think so...before I SAH, I was considering changing jobs, and asked if he took MSC Premeria, I believe he said the only thing they won't let him take is that. Give the office a call, 324-6464 just ask for Dr Seppa's office. Of coarse he is located in the Group Health building, but don't be discouraged, he told me prior to joining GH one of their (partners) conditions was they could accept other insurance, we have Basic Health. I didn't add before, I love him also bc he has a dd in similar age to my ds. So when he recommends things, it's typically things he has had his own personal success with.
