My favorite conversation starter:

If you could sit down and have a long talk with anyone, living or dead (but they must be/have been a real person, no fantasy characters) who would it be? Why?

And, What's your favorite tree?

Oh my goodness! Ok I have two daughters obviously. They are five and 22 months. The five y/o's pregnancy was fairly easy I was 19 and in college so that was stressful but nothing out of the ordinary. DD#2's was about the same. I didn't have much morning sickness with either. Puked maybe 6 times total with both of them.
I am planning a birthcenter birth. The other two were in hospitals NOT doing that again. The birthcenter has a tub but you can't birth in the tub so I'm planning on being in the water as long as possible. I really wanted a homebirth but we can't afford it. I've considered doing a UC but Dh thinks it is crazy and I want him on board and as supportive as possible. My biggest fear is that I'll go into labor at home and have to drive all the way there. I want to go into labor at work so I won't have as far to go to get to the birthcenter. I HATE driving when I am in labor.
I have two sisters so no not a very big family but Dh is the youngest of 9!
I try to do my kegels. When I remember I do them thanks for reminding me!

I'll get to the rest later I have to get ready for work. I'll get on there and answer more!

What does your 5 year old think about you being pregnant?

Do you have any intuition about whether you are having a boy or a girl?

How did your boss react when you told him/her?

Do you like your job?

My 5 y/o is excited she likes babies and likes to help out. She always wants to try to feel the baby move but the baby won't move for her yet
The baby likes to move until someone puts their hand on my belly. I'm not good with the intuition for myself but I can usually guess correctly with other people.
My boss was probably thinking 'NOT AGAIN' but they didn't say anything just had me sign the necessary paperwork that I don't agree with but can't do anything about.
I like my job in that it gives me the hours I want. It pays well and it is not difficult for the most part. I am an x-ray tech. I work weekend nights 3 12hr. shifts. I am then off the rest of the week to be with my kids and husband. However this is not what I want to do the rest of my life but it works for now.

My family was generally excited. Who can resist a new baby? My mom was/is a little anxious about another one b/c she watches the kids on the weekends while dh and I work. My sisters like it b/c they get to buy baby clothes! I'm never sure about my dad I always feel like when I'm pregnant it reinforces the fact that his little girl is actually having sex and he would rather not think about it. Dh is always wierd at first but he really enjoys feeling the baby move and watching my belly get big.

Ok this I don't know if I can pick! Roots by Alex Haley I have read that so many times! At least five. I really like the Clan of the Cave Bear series. And the Mayfair Witches and The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice. I don't think I could choose which of those I like the best!

Vacation: I would love to go to Italy. Just travel the countryside eating food looking at the scenery.

Girl: Keilani Rain
Matea

Boy: Jace
There are others but for some reason I can't remember them right now. I need my book in front of me.

Do you have a list of affirmations for birth?

Are you planning on writing a birth plan?

What is your favorite part of being pg?
I like greens.

I'm not sure what a list of affirmations for birth is please explain

I will probably write a birth plan. I'm not always very good at remembering what I want in the moment you know?

I love feeling the baby kick and the weight gain! It makes me finally get some boobs! And just the general curviness that I don't have unless I'm pregnant.

I would like to talk with my grandfather again I would like to just be able to smell him again and mess up his hair. There are other people I would like to be able to talk to that are alive but it would turn into an arguement or otherwise just be depressing so a happy one would be my granpa.

My favorite tree? I like those flowering trees real pretty maybe its a dogwood? I also like the cottonwood trees. Nice shade trees. I need more trees in my yard.

The stupid people saying 'you're pregnant AGAIN!?!?' like it is a bad thing and why in the world would I want another child. That drives me crazy! Or the people who look at me like i have 3 heads and 26 eyes when i mention something I plan on doing with the birth or parenting in general. Yes I see a midwife no i don't want an epidural no you couldn't pay me to have my baby in the hospital.
