Oh no! It's been such a busy week that I completely missed this!

- I picked Milosmomma because 'Milo' has been my nickname for DD (Amelia) since she was a baby. I also didn't want to have the same name here that I had on other boards. I rarely think about it, but I think it throws some people off because I don't have any kids (or pets) named Milo.

- My hair is naturally brown. I went through a phase 10 yrs ago when I cut it short and dyed it blonde...but that passed pretty quickly. I also had a couple years when my hairdresser friend was doing my hair for free so I was heavily highlighted...but apparently her husband got us in the divorce and she eventually moved away.

Sorry, I should have sent you a message to remind you, Milosmomma, but I had a busy week too! I hope you get to answer at least a few good questions before the week is up.

Here's some more:

--If you celebrate Thanksgiving, what are some of your favorite traditions (if not, maybe some other late fall/early winter traditions)?

-- I know seven months is average for TTC, but it must have felt so long! Do you think you just got lucky on try #7, or was there some other thing that helped conceive this baby?

--Are you still thinking of only A and Z names? Any frontrunners?

--How does preparing for #3 feel different from 1 and 2?

--If you celebrate Thanksgiving, what are some of your favorite traditions (if not, maybe some other late fall/early winter traditions)?

Well....traditional Thanksgiving food. Because I'm from VT, I always add maple syrup to my pumpkin pie. And we ALWAYS listen to 'Alice's Restaurant' Thanksgiving morning.

I think we just got lucky. There were a few months I was SURE that I was pregnant...but nope. And then that month I didn't really think I was (I'd even started spotting)....but, you know, here I am! And you're right, after conceiving on month 3 with my other 2 kids, 7 months seemed like FOREVER.

--Are you still thinking of only A and Z names? Any frontrunners?

We really only ever considered A & Z names (although a lot of people were suggesting me hit the middle and pick an M name). Right now, we're really liking Zaria. (This was all supposed to be a secret but, as I suspected, DP cracked and started telling people)

--How does preparing for #3 feel different from 1 and 2?

With DD, it was our 1st baby, so we needed EVERYTHING. Then with DS we needed boy clothes and cloth diapers (I started CDing when DD was 1). Now that we're back to another girl, so we're back to needing girl clothes (DD's are long gone), but aside from that....we're good. We have all the "stuff", we know what to expect, we probably have a name. It's a little unsettling that I DON'T have anything to do/get/read. I feel like I'm forgetting something....

Zaria is beautiful!! And I love Amelia too....I'm uber-focussed on girl's names right now because my husband and I don't have an agreed-upon short list (Amelia is on mine).

Are Amelia and Zaven excited about another baby? Do you stay home with them now? Will you be able to stay home with the new baby? How did you end up in Georgia from Vermont? Do you like it?

We are still watching "The Walking Dead" and I told dh the first time that someone (you) from my ddc works across the street from some of the filming. Did you check it out on TV? How much of the street did they close off to film it?

Thank you! Zaria was actually Zaven's girl name (although we were going to spell it Zarya). I think 'Amelia' would sound great to go along with Fiona

Amelia and Zaven are SOOO excited about the baby. Amelia is completely ecstatic that she's going to have a sister (she's been campaigning hard. LOL)

I don't stay home now...and I won't with the new baby (past the first few months maternity leave). At times I wish I could stay home and hang out with my kids all the time (because they are really, really awesome little people), but I'm really proud of myself for being a WOHM. Although there are times that my job really frustrates me, I really, really love the industry I work in (Television News)...it has a way of sucking people in.

I moved to GA for my job with CNN. GA is okay, there are things I like about it....but I don't think I'll ever consider it my "home".
I miss Vermont like crazy. I actually didn't think a whole lot about it until I had kids. Now I ache to be back there. When I go home, I'm always amazed by how happy and comfortable I feel (not just about the familiarity, but because people seem to be on the same page as I am).

Growing up, we ALWAYS listened to Alice's Restaurant while eating breakfast on Thanksgiving morning. It was a big thing for my parents. There were a few years that I skipped it after I moved to GA, but once I got the CD, it became a tradition for DP & I. A co-worker & I just made another co-worker listen to the entire thing on YouTube because he'd never heard it before. I don't think he really appreciated the brilliance of it.

You know, I never actually watched "The Walking Dead". A big stretch of rural looking road was blocked off between our house and my in-laws. And there was a really country looking gas station that I saw in a preview that's actually right near our house (which is right outside the city)....in fact, that's the first filming I saw and we thought there had been a horrible car crash the first time we passed. They had a several block stretch blocked off for some of the city scenes (near my work), but luckily it was blocked right at the cross-street the I drive past, so I never had to detour and I occasionally saw off-duty zombies hanging around eating lunch.

I don't listen to a lot of internet radio. I've been using my ipod a lot lately.

I see that you are in Douglasville. I've been there a few times. My mom lives in Powder Springs and I visit her as often as I can. I love Georgia. I think it is beautiful. But, I'll be honest, I don't think I could ever live there for any length of time.

Do you like your peanut butter chunky or smooth? What about your applesauce? Your mashed potatoes? Your cranberry sauce?
