What are you craving?
Everything I'm not supposed to eat!!
Instead if taking the 3 hour glucose tolerance test a second time in this pregnancy, and in light of the fact that I am regularly spilling sugar in my urine, I asked the MFM to just label me GD and be done with it. So I am being VERY careful of what I eat, and poking my finger several times a day. I think it was a good call because if I get too many carbs my glucose is a mess!
Soooo I am craving FRUIT!!! I miss fruit so much. I am a California girl and accustomed to having all the fresh fruits and veggies I could possibly want, at any time I want. I am currently allowed only 2 servings of fruit per day. For perspective that is 1/2 of a banana, and a small apple. Counting down the weeks till I can really have fruit again.

How are you feeling?
Because of our previous and recent losses I am only just now starting to get the "Oh my gosh, we're gonna have a baby!" excitement. I am so grateful to still be carrying this little one and to be beyond the viability threshold.
Physically I have been pregnant for basically 18+ months straight at this point. I am very tired and achy and everything from my ribs down just hurts...But is is so worth it because I AM STILL PREGNANT!!!!!

Guilty pleasure?
Right now... an occasional diet, caffeine free Dr. Pepper and Trader Joe's Classic Dark Chocolate bars in tiny pieces

I'm sorry for your losses Mama, and am rooting for you and your growing baby!!!

Ugh, not being able to eat much fruit? What self-control. What's the first thing you're going to devour after giving birth? Pineapple?

This is obviously not your first child - is it your dh's?

For some reason I always NEED a grilled cheese sandwich on sourdough as soon as I give birth, so that will be first, followed by an apple, some apricots, a peach and a nectarine! Oh, and grapes I should be able to get some organic grapes by then too, and melon, and, and, and
This as you noted is not my first, it will be my hubby's first. He has been a major part of our lives since I divorced my ex and has been around through all of my youngest's life. Hubby is kiddo 3 of 7 and has spent a lot of time with his siblings and their families. He is WONDERFUL with kids of all ages, and has become a fantastic step dad! I am starting to see just the faintest hints of nervous, anxious, uber-protective parent starting in him, he is in love with my bump and the baby inside. I love it!
