Okay, getting an insanely early start, but my computer is about fried, we are getting a new one tomorrow, actually today, hopefully, but it keeps shutting off on me
I can't sleep, so excuse if the questions are funky...

2. What has been your favorite job?

3. What made you choose all the smilies in your sig?

4. How many states have you lived in?

5. If you could live anywhere, ANYWHERE, where would you live?

6. All time favortie song? You can pick more than one, I always have a hard time picking just one

7. Movie?

8 Do you like to read? If so, what kind of books?

9. Do you have any pets?

10. Were you raised AP? What made you decide, or did you fall into it like so many of us?

11. If you have been able to eat so far, what has been your favortie thing?

12. How different is this pregnancy compared to your others?

13. Do you suffer from insominia, like me.....

14. Do you have a favorite book, or author that you like to read to your kids?

15. What kind of birth are you planning on having? Has this changed compared to your other births?

16. Are your kids excited about the baby?

Okay, sorry, that is a lot, but I don't know if my computer will be totally fired when I wake up. I really think it is from my kids, "checking their emails". So I really wanted to get up as much as I could, just in case. And I am going to try and get back to sleep.

1. You know, I have to ask about your name, I am guessing you like coffee, but, how do you like it? Cream, sugar, mochas, lattees? Ice cream? Okay, that just sounded good...

LOL. One night I was drinking my beloved iced coffee as I was registering for MDC. The last thing I had said before signing up was "coffee tastes goooooood"... Not being very creative, thats the name I chose. I like it all ways. There is no bad coffee (and I drink mine decaf).

2. What has been your favorite job?

I worked in a public library in highschool and just loved being around all the books.

3. What made you choose all the smilies in your sig?

I couldn't think of a witty sig... and my kids wanted to see the smilies, so I chose the ones that applied to my state of mind. LOL

4. How many states have you lived in?

One- Wisconsin. Exciting...

5. If you could live anywhere, ANYWHERE, where would you live?

I would live in New Zealand. I never would have said this if I didn't own the extended versions of the Lord of the Rings DVDs... watching the "making of" features just really made me think that was the most beautiful place on earth.

6. All time favortie song? You can pick more than one, I always have a hard time picking just one

Morrissey "Every Day is Like Sunday" The Cure "Just Like Heaven"- I was a huge Brit Pop fan when I was younger (still am actually)

7. Movie?

The Big Lebowski. So many inside jokes can be taken from that movie.

8 Do you like to read? If so, what kind of books?

I love to read. Mostly nonfiction. I love reading books on various religions/compartive religions.

9. Do you have any pets?

No. Too messy for my current state of life

10. Were you raised AP? What made you decide, or did you fall into it like so many of us?

I was not raised AP but also not CIO. I first learned about AP from reading the Continuum Concept before I was even pregnant with #1.

11. If you have been able to eat so far, what has been your favortie thing?

Cheddar cheese melted on triscuits.

12. How different is this pregnancy compared to your others?

Its much like pregnancy #1, where I am very tired, nauseous but not puking, crabby as all get out...

13. Do you suffer from insominia, like me.....

Not as a general rule. I get it in third trimester, hopefully not this time.

14. Do you have a favorite book, or author that you like to read to your kids?

Richard Scarry is great. The kids love looking at the pictures.

15. What kind of birth are you planning on having? Has this changed compared to your other births?

I am having a homebirth this time. My last two were in the hospital, straightforward natural births. I have been blessed with two really easy births and I don't take it for granted... I am in awe of moms who have hard births and end up birthing vaginally or via cesarean. I totally realize that I have had it easy and its not fair. At the same time, I am hoping this birth will be the same as my 2nd birth (about 5 hours total).

16. Are your kids excited about the baby?

They don't know yet!! They are 5 and 3 and I am not quite ready to share with them yet... just in case...

I'll answer more later... gotta run!

Do you have any brothers or sisters?

I have an older sister and a younger brother. We all get along really well. I am the only one with kids.

What is your ideal family size?

We are taking it one child at a time. Thankfully DH & I have the same approach in that we have no set number and we TTA when we feel that its not time for a baby and then when one of us is feeling baby lust (usually DH first) we talk about it for a few months. I don't see myself as mom to a huge family, but who knows?

Are you going to find out you baby's sex before birth?

No. Its really exciting to be suprised. Even though I can definitely see why others do, I like that one last rush of suprise at the very end.

Do you have a feeling either way...boy or girl? Would you prefer one over the other?

I am not good at this. I always have a gut feeling and its wrong. lol
So I think girl, which means it will probably be a boy. I have one of each so I feel really laid back about the sex... either way is good.

Who have or haven't you told yet?

Pretty much close family/friends only. And my MW.lol

How did you tell your dh? His response??

He was right there as I took the test. We were TTC and I chart, so we pretty much knew I was probably pregnant based on my chart. He was happy

You're a superhero!
What's your name and power?
What does your costume look like?

Agriwoman!
I grow food in the family garden to significantly supplement what we eat as a family. My outfit is a large-brimmed straw hat, a trowel in one of my gloved hands and bean vines wrapped around my bod.
Do you like sushi?

Love it. I am vegetarian so I stick to veggie sushi- nori rolls stuffed with various veggies, baked tofu, etc.

What kind of coffee is your favorite?

I am not a coffee expert or anything lol. I prefer dark/espresso roasts. I like it strong (but decaf, which may be an oxymoron).

Thong or granny panties?

neither. I prefer bikini cut.

Do you like to cook? If so, whats your favorite dish?

Love to cook. Since we are vegetarian we eat mostly ethnic foods. If I had unlimited time I would make a Indian feast. Homemade paratha, samosas, a dal, a veggie curry, raita, chutney, and a sweet like burfi or rice pudding.

Whats your favorite way to spend free time?

outside with my kiddos digging in the good green earth.

If you could go for a week paid vacation anywhere, where would you go?

A family trip to the mountains. Like taking a camper to Maine.

Whats your favorite scent?

patchouli. I love earthy/woodsy scents.

What makes you laugh the most?

my DH. He is very funny and is always making the best of any situation.

What's your favorite preggy snack?

a slice of tomato with a slice of fresh mozzarella, leaf of basil, drizzled with balsamic vinegar. (x4 or 5 lol)

Socks, or barefeet?

barefeet!

What is/was your favorite Britpop band?

All-time favorite album?
Do you believe in a higher power?

I do . We are fairly spiritual but don't go to church regularly... but in a way I do each time I step outside and dig in the dirt

Favorite dessert?

Not that I EVER get to eat it, but something like a really dense flourless chocolate cake.

Favorite saying regarding life?

"You are never given a wish without also being given the power to make it come true. You may have to work for it, however." (Richard Bach)

Favorite saying regarding parenting?

To be in your children's memories tomorrow, you have to be in their lives today.

What is/was your favorite Britpop band?

Ride

All-time favorite album?

Smiths "The Queen is Dead"

Does coffee still taste good, despite the first trimester?

Um sadly... no!! Heartwrenching!
:

Are your two kids boys or girls?

One of each... I know, sickening...

What is your fave sound?

Rain. I love it when it rains and everything else is quiet... my kids have even picked up my tendency to want to go watch the rain.

Worst feeling in the world?

Nausea.

What musical instrument would you like to be able to play/can play?

I play clarinet. Played through highschool but not in college. I'm very happy that I can play an instrument and read music and sincerely hope my children will as well.

One person from your past you wish you could go back and talk with.

My grandfather. I never knew him but heard that he was a really neat person. He shared my love of gardening and I have been told that I have some of his traits.

Beach,mountain or city?

Mountains and city
I love nature but appreciate the progressive nature/outlook and opportunities that cities offer.

Do you believe in an afterlife

Yes. I have a hard time thinking that our sole purpose is to function as a bag of genes and to replicate. There has to be more.

Do you use cloth or disposable?

Cloth. Third time around I have tailored my system to kissaluv fitteds and hand-knitted wool covers. Would like to be serious about EC this time too and use the kissaluvs as backup. (part-time EC'd DD).

Have you picked names for your baby yet?

Not yet. DH and I used up the ones we agreed on and now have to seek out more. I have not taken the time to think about it yet. Isn't that strange?

If you could hand-pick the next President of our country...who would it be?

Hmmm. I tend to be skeptical about federal politics, much preferring the local scene. I understand the need of a figurehead to represent this country... I actually am a fan of Joe Lieberman. I think he has a lot of integrity on both sides of the aisle.

How long ago did you become vegetarian and what were your reasons?

15 years ago. My reasons were mainly for the ethics/aesthetic aspects of meat-eating. Now that remains a part of it, but the biggest reason is I want to tread lightly on the earth. Vegetarianism is more environmentally-friendly than meat-eating.

How long have you and your dp been together, and how did you meet?

Close to 10 years. We met in college. We both were in the same Literature class and he was a beautiful hippy with such a positive outlook on life. I was instantly attracted and had so much in common. Our first date was to a coffee shop (
) and we stayed there until 2 am. *sigh*.

What 5 words would you use to best describe/define yourself?

compassionate
smart
sarcastic
seeking

What is your favorite part of the day?

Morning. The kids are soooo sweet and happy in the morning. I love waking up to their smiling happy faces... They love each other at that time of day and everyone is happy and in a good mood.

Favorite room of the house?

My bedroom. It is my sanctuary and I have it decorated in such a way that really makes me so happy. The walls are painted a really soothing sage, We have curtains hung on a gnarly tree branch... I just love it. Its like a little bit of outside on the inside! I totally can envision this baby being born in there.

What was your mode of rebelling as a teenager?

I hung out with potsmokers and indulged from time to time myself

Are you an introvert or an extrovert?

I suppose I am an extrovert in that I enjoy other people's company and feel comfortable in a crowd. I'm not like perky bubbly but can be quite the conversationalist...

Cravings this pregancy - sweet or tart?

TART! I loooove sour anything right now.

Favorite parenting book?

I don't really read them so I suppose Dr. Sears' _The Baby Book_ for the useful information.

do you have a signature dish? Or one that you like to cook and serve anyway?

One that I make with some regularity if we are having friends over is a quesadilla buffet. I make the ooey gooey quesadillas, cut them in triangles and heap on a platter. Bowls of chipotle mayonnaise, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, green onions, black olives are on the side. Nothing fancy but its easy and a cheese fest, so an indulgent treat!

How old are you (you totally don't have to answer that
)

Your most favorite vacation - where did you go/what did you do?

If you keep fresh mozarella, are you able to resist eating it straight out of the tub, standing in front of the open refrigerator door (um, or is that just me)?

If you and your DH go to an Indian restaurant, do you share an order of samosas, or each get your own order (um, or is that just me too)?

Do you wear glasses/contacts?

What's growing in that garden?

(and I have to say, I luuuv "The Queen is Dead" too - I had it on tape and wore it out. It won't play anymore. Actually, i also wore out "Meat is Murder" also. They were on constant rotation for several years...
)
